Nicos Polymers Group purpose-built facility encompasses more than 180,000 square feet allowing us to effectively serve clients of all sizes for any material separation, fiber removal, and reprocessed plastic pellet needs. We currently process 90 million pounds of plastic per year.

Traditional size reduction equipment includes 3 single shaft shredders, 17 primary grinders ranging from 100 to 300HP with a variety of rotor designs and 6 pulverizing mills with classification capabilities. Incoming material forms from large purge patties to sheet to molded parts to sprues and runners are all hand-inspected prior to feeding to insure the highest quality regrind and powders. Toll pulverization of virgin prime polymers for color concentrate blending and rotomolding are also available.
Blending services include mixing capabilities that permit large batch blends, bagging and direct transportation to end users.

Nicos Polymers pioneered a proprietary process for the removal of continuous fiber reinforcement from flexible composites, allowing for the cleanest possible recovery of the valuable polymer substrate. Originally developed for reclaiming PVC from garden hose, the process also yields excellent results with industrial hoses, single-ply roofing membrane (both TPO and PVC based), and architectural wall coverings.
Metal contaminated materials are reclaimed by incorporating metal detection and removal equipment into the size reduction. Fines are removed by a similar incorporation of applicable systems, delivering precisely ground materials ready for additional use.

Our destruction services include complete and certified destruction of any products which need to be permanently removed from the market. We provide complete material balance reporting and disposal of destroyed product. In some cases where plastic materials can be recovered after destruction, the cost of the service can be offset by return of the material or purchase by Nicos Polymers. We offer options such as witnessed and video taped destruction and notary services are available on request.
With multiple extrusion lines, Nicos Polymers offers toll re-pelletization services to provide clean and consistent product in either strand-cut or water-ring pellet configuration. We also offer a variety of compounds to meet your injection molding, extrusion or blow molding material needs. Resin systems include polystyrene, ABS, HIPS, polypropylene, polyethylene, polycarbonate, acrylic, PETG and others.

Disk-type Condux densification is the latest conversion process added to our suite of capabilities. Ideally suited to the reclamation of products such a thin films, fibers and monofilaments, as well was woven and non-woven fabrics, this process is a cost-effective and technically superior method for reclaiming these challenging product forms.
Our sustainability consulting services are offered by Innovative Sustainability Solution, a division of Nicos Polymers Group. ISS specializes in cradle to cradle recycling, product life cycle management and landfill avoidance strategies.
